Glazed apples

4 apples
1 cup apple juice
1 tablespoon kuzu
Sea salt
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger

Halve the apples and place them in a baking dish. Pour the apple juice over the apples, cover, and bake in a 180 degree oven until they are soft.
Dilute the kuzu in a little water and place in a pot with a pinch of sea salt. Add the juice from the baked apples and the grated ginger to the pot and heat, stirring, for several minutes.
Pour the apple juice and kuzu mixture over the apples and bake, uncovered, for a further 15 minutes.
